These bondable nipples are Made In USA.
A special, "non-toxic", water cleanup, adhesive,
in stick form, is supplied with each order. It is specific
for use in attaching the nipples to a breast form. The nipple
can remain on the breast form or breast prosthesis or removed
and the breastform washed with soap and water. It can then be
reapplied using the stick adhesive. Other adhesives, that are
supplied for bonding various mastectomy products to the skin, can also be
used.
The bondable nipples will fit most breast forms that do not have a prominent nipple.
When using mastectomy bras it is necessary to use the adhesive supplied to make sure
the nipples remain in place on the breast prosthesis. Suitable mastectomy bras are
available from many mastectomy products supply companies. Please note--
The non toxic stick adhesive, that is being used, has not been thoroughly
tested for application to bare skin. We suggest that it would be wise to test it on
the skin before using it for that purpose.
The bondable nipples are made from natural rubber and are suitable for use with mastectomy
bras, and bonded to breast forms or breast prosthesis. The adhesive supplied is not
water resistant and a water resistant silicone adhesive should be used if the nipples are
to be worn in a mastectomy swimsuit in the water. Some suppliers of mastectomy products carry
suitable adhesive systems for water or hot tub environments. Check their instructions
carefully.
The nipple itself is firm and will be evident throught the cloth of most standard brassieres
or mastectomy bras when used with breast forms. When using mastectomy bras it is important
to make sure the nipples are bonded to the mastectomy breast prosthesis to insure that they remain
in place.
