The breast prosthesis has a matte surface covering similar to skin. The breast forms have a soft flat back surface that is smooth and comfortable against the skin and they contour immediately when used.
The tear drop shape of the breast prosthesis provides an extension that can be oriented toward the underarm or the upper chest.
The breast forms fit naturally and comfortably, for either right or left side of the mastectomy bras and they are available in Four Flesh Tones.

       Breast cancer results in the need for an external breast prosthesis when reconstructive surgery is not selected. The basic requirement is for post mastectomy bras to insure that the breast forms maintain a suitable position in whatever type of apparel is being worn.

       Standard and plus size apparel that is specific for women that have had mastectomies is usually supplied with a pocket sewn in to accommodate the breast prosthesis and keep it in proper position. Fashion is very important and post mastectomy swimsuits are designed to accommodate a breastform.

       Apparel such as post mastectomy bras, post mastectomy swimsuits and post mastectomy lingerie are supplied specifically for woment that have had breast cancer and subsequent lumpetomy or complete breast removal.

       The transgender community, consisting of male cross dressers and transvestites also use apparel that is designed to accommodate breast forms. They are very fashion oriented in their sellection and use of lingerie, bras, swimsuits, wigs and cosmetics.
